Flooded animal sanctuary at Pedro Munoz in Spain in need of every
help they can get please!!! Pictures were taken last Sunday.
Under this link you can watch a video to get nearly a view of the situation of this shelter.
The photos of the flooded Spanish shelter I havesent show the dog sanctuary ' CIUDAD ANIMAL ' at Pedro Munoz, a city which is located about 160kmin Southern Madrid and about 260km West ofValencia. It isrun by a lady called Loli. She and two other people have much bigger problems, they have to struggle with huge amounts of floodwater which is also inside the buildingsand it alsoruns down the walls and comes up from the ground etc and they can't get it dry. The rescued doggies arestanding ankledeep in the water andmud, the press boards which should be for the dogs to lie down onare nowsoftened by the water, this will probably have now caused bacteria andin the flooded ground around too.
I think they would urgently need people who arewilling and able to help them builda drainage system. The dogs have nothing to play with, most of the time they are alone. There are so many dogswho are urgently looking for theirown family. This is also an appeal for people with big heartsand loving homes for them. The dogs need help in many ways but most of all a dry place, then to stop them mobbing others because of lack of toys, the whole situation there contact with people etc.
To get a further view of a part of the actual situation there here a link to a German website with several photos
And on this website is a video which was just taken by a lady who visited CIUDAD ANIMAL first half of December -
